I saw this sink on Pottery Barn and fell head-over-heels in love with it's vintage country farmhouse style.
Of course, I would never buy it because it costs over 2 grand and we have to eat...and pay for soccer and karate and basic necessities...like electricity!!
But then I saw this sad, sad lonely little dry sink at Goodwill.
And 30 bucks later...she was mine!! Just like almost everything I buy, she needs some help and I will gladly volunteer my awesome husband as her body-work specialist...just as soon as he finishes rehabbing my dumpster finds...and making me a new kitchen...and painting the ceiling (more on all that later)...WHEW! Makes me tired just thinking about all the stuff I have to come up for him to do. ;o)
...(quick nap later)...
And I'm back at it! No time for lollygagging! Someone has to dream up ways to keep that man busy and I'm just the gal to do it!
For this particular project, I really needed to get a visual of what to do with this piece since her scalloped edges and beadboard back and chippy wood were so....distracting.

Ooooh! I love her! My dry sink could be this wonderful wet dream!!
Hahaha...sorry, I just couldn't help myself!
With the cost of a drop-in sink, new faucet fixture, whatever plumbing and wood and paint and sealant we would need added in to the $30 I paid to get her, she would STILL come in way under the nicely pricely version from PB. We might just be due for a bathroom makeover!
